The Dameron family vacation

Combining the July OTP Challenge with Loki Hargreeves Challenge. Prompts: Sex with clothing still on, Vacation together, and kidfic. NC-17 scene inspired by The English Patient.
Poe wasn’t too sure, as he really didn’t have much from his past to compare it to, but he didn’t think this was how vacations were supposed to work.
First of all, they were supposed to have had two standard weeks for this trip, just the three of them. No work. No school. No stress. But an emergency meeting called by Senator Lumerie regarding a possible Jedi-like organization out of Raltir in which Rey had been specifically ‘requested’ to attend had delayed their trip by four days.
Then the Falcon had broken down. Again. Her repairs took another half day. After finally arriving at their destination, ready for warmth and sun and a beautiful white sand beach, Rey became ill. It didn’t take a genius to figure out what was going on there; they had been off of birth control for almost six months now. Even as she determined to not let morning sickness ruin her time here at Doven Mark, it began to rain.
And it had yet to stop.
He supposed it wasn’t all bad, because Leia sure didn’t mind the rain. Rey said she didn’t, either, but he didn’t really believe her. She had been obsessed with rain for years after she left Jakku, but now that she had spent the last five years on Yavin IV, where rain was an everyday occurrence half of the year, he knew she appreciated sunshine and warmth a lot more now. While Leia was happily making sandcastles on the beach, perfectly comfortable in her bathing suit while it rained softly, Rey sat watching her, a broad-brimmed hat on her head, a towel over her shoulders.
Leia, who was nearing four years of age, had also been very alert to Rey’s health since they had arrived. She knew it wasn’t normal for her strong, patient mother to get sick to her stomach or be so tired. He often caught his daughter look at him with worry tinting her hazel eyes, then she would look back at Rey before continuing on with her castle building.
It was so wet they were all starting to prune.
When Poe finally talked them all back inside for the noon meal, Leia made sure to get Rey two dry towels and a glass of water, then she went up to her father and asked in a stage whisper, “Is Mama okay?”
Poe glanced at Rey, who had obviously heard her daughter and was smiling. Poe looked back at Leia. “Your Mama is going to be just fine,” he told her. “She might not feel well for a while, but it’s nothing bad. I promise.”
That evening, just before Poe was about to tell Leia a made-up bedtime story, Rey settled down on the bed with her daughter. “Do you want to know why I haven’t been feeling well?” she asked the little girl.
Leia nodded solemnly, and Poe was struck once more with how much she looked like her mother. Other than the dark, curly hair and dark eyebrows, she was almost a mirror image of Rey.
“My body is adjusting to a new life,” Rey continued. “I’m carrying a baby inside me. A brother or sister for you.”
Leia looked skeptically down at Rey’s belly. “You can’t have a baby inside you,” she said firmly. “Your tummy isn’t big enough.” Leia was not only very observant, but bright for her age.
Rey laughed. “It’s very small right now,” she explained. “But it will grow. And when it does, my tummy will get bigger.”
Leia considered that, then nodded. “When does it come out?”
Rey glanced at Poe. “Well, I’m not sure how old it is, yet. I’ll let the doctor take tests when we get home to determine that. But not for at least seven months.”
“That’s a long time!” Leia gushed.
“You’ll be surprised how fast the time will go,” Rey said.
The sun finally came out the next afternoon, and with it, Rey’s smile came back full force. Unfortunately, their beach time that day was limited. The local senator was having a formal dinner that night, and they had of course been invited.
Poe refused to go too formal, choosing to wear his dress pants and jacket, but keeping the jacket unbuttoned and the shirt open at the throat. Rey also wore a more casual dress, but the fact that she was wearing a dress at all was a rare thing. It was an off-white color, the frilly skirt coming down to just below her knees, and a short-sleeved blouse-like top. She wore her hair, which she had cut to shoulder length just a few weeks ago, loose. Leia wore a dress similar to her mother’s, but Rey had her daughter’s hair braided tight, as the curly mass tended to get knots in it far too easy. Poe had had the same problem as a child.
The dinner with the senator, his family, and several other important people from Doven Mark, was actually rather pleasant as far as formal dinners went. The food was good, the conversation interesting, and the company polite. This planet had no reason to suck up to Rey or her family as they already had good relations with the UPF and had never had negative feelings for the Jedi. Overall, it was a good night. Until…
Cruz Sarat was one of the professors at the local university. He had been one of the hundreds who had flown to Exegol to help defeat the Final Order almost six years previously, and though neither Poe or Rey had met him at that time, there was still a connection between the three of them because of that battle. He couldn’t stop complimenting Poe on his leadership during the battle and the mop up that followed, so much so that Poe couldn’t help but wonder if the man was hitting on him. It wasn’t until later in the evening, as Poe watching his daughter playing a game of tag with several other children while the adults took to dancing, that he realized he wasn’t the only one Cruz was interested in.
The young, handsome Doven was dancing with Poe’s wife.
Poe could tell from Rey’s stiff body that she wasn’t as interested in her partner as he was in her. In fact, she looked downright uncomfortable. Poe couldn’t help but smile to himself. He and Rey had experimented with a lot of sexual kinks since they had become lovers, but a ménage à trios was not one of them; Rey had no sexual interest in anyone else, male or female, and Poe respected that. As politely as he could, he interrupted their dance and thanked Cruz for entertaining his wife. He didn’t have to say anything more, as the man seemed to understand he was being dismissed.
Rey immediately pressed herself up against Poe as he began to lead her into a slow dance. “I thought he was flirting with you, which was rather amusing, but then he started flirting with me. I don’t understand.”
Poe smiled against her cheek. “He wanted us both. Together, most likely.”
Rey pulled back and looked at him, her eyes wide and an “o” shape to her mouth. She hadn’t considered that. “Does something like that interest you?” she finally asked.
Poe shrugged. “It might have. Once. But I know it’s not something you’d care to try, and since I’ve been with you, I haven’t been interested either.”
“So, you weren’t tempted by him?”
“I will acknowledge that he was attractive,” Poe nodded. “But the only one tempting me is you.” He looked her up at down. “It’s been a while since you’ve worn a dress. Easy access.” He winked.
She smiled. “I’d still have to unbuckle a few things to get to you,” she griped.
“It’d be worth it.”
Rey looked around the room. “We can’t leave, yet.” Her gaze found their daughter. “Not until Leia is worn out, anyway.”
“That might be a while,” Poe argued. “I can’t wait that long.”
“Poe!” she hissed. “What are you suggesting?”
He stepped back and turned on his heel, grabbing a hold of her wrist and tugging her gently along with him as he left the room. But he didn’t go far. He steered her to an alcove just down the hall from the ballroom. They could still hear the music and the chatter, but the corner he led her to was dark. He pushed her against the wall and began to kiss her, bringing a hand up to squeeze her breast through her blouse.
She pushed at him, but it was a weak attempt. “Poe! Anyone could come look for us!”
“Then we best make it quick!” He reached down and grabbed the hem of her skirt, sliding his hand up her bare leg, not stopping until he reached her panties. She gasped, moving in to kiss him, opened mouthed and desperate. He happily reciprocated. During the first trimester of her first pregnancy, Rey had been too ill and miserable to really enjoy sex. He didn’t know if this one would do the same, but for the moment she was all in. And he was about ready to show her one of his favorite kinks.
He brought the hand under her skirt to the apex of her thighs, feeling a growl well up in his throat as he found her panties already damp. He slid his fingers under the material, dipping them into her wet heat. “Good girl,” he mumbled. She moaned into his mouth.
He continued to finger her, strumming her as he would a hallikset with one hand while he undid the buckle of his trousers with the other. As he pulled himself free, he heard laughing just around the corner. He stilled as Rey pulled back, her eyes wide as she looked at him. Were they about to get caught? The voices moved on, away from them, and Poe started kissing Rey’s neck, dipping his fingers into her core, working her arousal back up.
She whimpered and brought one of her legs up, hitching it up around his hip. He reached around with both hands, the fingers of his left hand still wet with her arousal, and grasped her ass. She grabbed his shoulders as he lifted her just enough, and as she wrapped her legs around him, he brought his right hand back down to help direct his cock to where it so desperately wanted to be. He used his finger to move aside her underwear, then pushed in, burying his face in the crook of her neck, muffling his moan. The laughter and the music and the chatter melded into a steady drone as he started thrusting, Rey’s body softly hitting the wall behind her. If they got caught now…
Rey grabbed the hair on the back of his head, pulling on it just enough to make him look up at her. Her eyes were wild, her mouth open in a silent scream. She let out a shuddering breath as she lowered her face, taking his lips with hers once more. “Hurry!” she gasped into his mouth. His hips quickened. Someone was going to come look for them soon!
He felt Rey’s cunt squeeze him just as her legs tightened even more around him. “Awwww,” she moaned softly, somehow remembering to keep quiet. He watched her face, fascinated by her blissful expression. She shuddered, then opened her eyes to look at him, and that look was enough to set him off. He grunted as he came inside her.
They stilled, staying wrapped up in each other for a long moment, but all too soon the noised of the party started pulling Poe out of his euphoria.
“Kriff!” Rey hissed, pushing against his shoulders. “Leia’s looking for us!”
He stepped back as she released her legs and dropped her feet down to the floor. She immediately pulled her skirt down and tried smoothing it out while he faced the wall and put himself together, buckling his belt with shaking hands.
“Mama? Papa?”
“Right here, sweetpea,” Rey answered, glancing at Poe to make sure he was done. Then she stepped out of the alcove to meet their daughter. Poe took a breath and followed. It was inevitable that their daughter would catch them having sex someday, he thought, but he really didn’t want it to be during a party on a foreign planet.
“You were gone a long time,” Leia said matter-of-factly.
“Your mama wasn’t feeling well again,” Poe told the little girl. “So, I took her away from the party and helped her feel better.”
Leia cocked her head at them. “Were you guys kissing?”
“Yep,” Rey nodded. “We were.”
“Ick,” Leia responded. “And that worked to make you feel better?”
Rey smiled and looked at Poe.
“Always.”
