Rey felt sleep pull at her. Her body was limp and she was barely aware of the hard ground she lay upon. However, she was still fully aware of the hard body behind her, of the heavy arm that was wrapped around her, the hand splayed over her belly. The hand that had given her so much pleasure.
As she drifted off, she breathed in deep the fresh smell of rain and the jungle. They weren’t the only scents. Poe, herself, the aftermath of what he had just done. It was different but pleasant.
Rey fell asleep sated and happy.
