Rey reached the peak, smiling as she admired the view. She turned to face the man following her.
He was breathing heavily as he moved next to her. “Jedi,” Poe muttered under his breath. “Can I have my reward now?”
“Look at this view! Isn’t that reward enough?”
“It’s an amazing view, but not as amazing as what I was promised.” He looked at her expectantly.
“Fine,” she said with a sigh. She stepped into him and brought her lips to his.
He returned the kiss with enthusiasm. When she pulled away, he smiled. “Now that was worth the climb.”
