Prompt: Apple
“I wish you were taller!”
“Hey, let’s leave my size out of this!”
Rey snorted as she continued to stretch upward, trying to reach one of the upper branches on the tree. “Normally, I would,” she griped. “But today, it’s just not enough for me to reach that apple.”
Poe looked up at her perched on his shoulders. “Not so easy doing things without the Force, is it?”
Rey grimaced and dropped her arm. “I could climb it.”
“Is that apple really that important?”
“Yes!” With a smile, she reached up again and the apple floated down to her hand.
