Prompt: Rain
Poe woke to the sound of rain. He opened his eyes and smiled. They had been here on Lyrica for five weeks; it had never once rained.
The locals said that once the monsoon season started, the arid land around them would awaken with brilliant color.
He looked over at the woman next to him to find her eyes also open, a small smile on her face.
“Do you know what’s better than lying in bed listening to it rain outside?”
Rey looked at him, her eyes luminous. “What?”
“Making love while it rains outside,” he answered.
Her smile widened.
